What is it?
Students work on a complex open math problem during a Math Circle. It has been provided in different countries in Europe, the USA and Asia, both in schools, and in special afterschool programs. Math Circle problems often have a low entry level and a high ceiling; much is possible. As many an open problem, more solutions and strategies are possible. Students may do recoveries in math they never did before, and enjoy a healthy struggle with a math problem. Would you like to experience a Math Circle problem? What it could feel like as a student and what it can provide? |
